Privacy Policy
GestureCraft is local-first software. It does not require an account and does not send your rules, inputs, diagnostics, file paths, scripts, or app usage to GestureCraft servers.
What GestureCraft Handles

- Rules and settings
- Rules, recognition tuning, setup state, Test Mode, and Launch at Login state are stored locally on your Mac.
- Trackpad and input events
- GestureCraft reads input events locally to match enabled rules. It does not transmit raw input events.
- Diagnostics
- Diagnostics are generated only when you choose Export Diagnostics. The report redacts URLs, file paths, and shell script bodies, and you decide whether to send it.
- Support email
- If you email support, your email address and the information you include are used to troubleshoot and reply.
- Licensing and updates
- Activating a license sends your license key and an anonymous per-device identifier to the licensing server (api.gesturecraft.app) to check and count your seat; no personal profile is built. Automatic update checks fetch a signed appcast from dl.gesturecraft.app and include only your app version and platform.
